Shingle Company Boom Truck Driver

DESCRIPTION

  • Receive and decipher work orders from management in office

  • Pick items from barn/yard for whole project

    • Safely load boom truck with items for delivery, some of the smaller items the crew may take to job in their own vehicle

    • Keep deck of truck clean after each delivery

  • Document all items taken on your copy of work order, and return to office

  • Inspect truck prior to all deliveries and fill in inspection report book

    • Report any deficiencies to office prior to driving, so that appropriate repairs can be scheduled in

    • Maintain fluid levels of truck and lubrication schedule

  • Deliver material to jobsite and safely operate HIAB Crane to lift material to the roof level, for the crew to unload on the roof

  • Responsible for timecard and Working at Heights certification

This position is not a full time position, even when we are in full swing. We are able to fill in missing hours with those who are willing to perform other tasks around our yard and on our projects. We ask that the person in this position be flexible and willing to learn more tasks. Additional tasks are as follows, but not limited to:

  • Picking up and delivering other material to and from suppliers/jobsites in other vehicles

  • Maintaining yard inventory counts and reporting to management

  • Keeping yard clean and organized on a daily basis

  • Working with either, shingle, siding, repair or flat crews as needed (to maintain fulltime hours)

  • Yard and garden maintenance around the office
